Know the Father’s heart – unconditional love
THIS IS LOVE: not that we loved God, but that God loved us 1 John 4:10
We think it’s all about our love for God, but it’s not!
It’s about God’s magnificent love for us.
Under grace, He doesn’t demand perfection from us;
He supplies perfection to us through the finished work of His Son, Jesus Christ.
As we experience a new dimension of God’s love, we will become righteousness-conscious, not sin-conscious, and forgiveness-conscious, not judgment-conscious. From the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11–32) we see no matter how many mistakes we have made, we can turn back to Him. He loves us unconditionally. Our Father is running towards us to embrace us!
